And banishes the evils that lurk in the folds of the night.

And every flash a lash burned across the back of one who loves
Rain like blood poured out till all in wrath consumed
And after the violence the world at peace asleep
Under the blanket that covers the head of a child.

Many have painted the fury of storms at sea or the gathering clouds of massive thunderheads. None capture the thunderstorm better than Van Gogh. He alone stood inside the clouds.
